On April 18, 2008, we helped host the first ever Texas Regional HFES One-Day Conference at the MCC Building (The Commons) in Austin. The Symposium was a forum for sharing information, case studies and new ideas within our community. This community consists of human factors and ergonomics engineers, designers, developers, designated company specialists and students in and around Texas. The conference was also hosted by the Houston Chapter of HFES, the North Texas Chapter of HFES, the Bluebonnet Chapter of HFES (Austin), the Austin Area Ergonomics Roundtable, and the Texas Tech University Student Chapter of HFES. Here are some photos from that day. |
